Description: Pilates is a full-body exercise system that emphasizes the balanced
development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness. It focuses on efficient, graceful movements and is mostly
done on a mat on the floor. It is appropriate for all fitness levels, and modifications for each exercise will be offered. This class
is for girls and women only, ages 12 and up.
Class Supplies: Each student must purchase/bring a yoga mat, 10-inch exercise ball, and
a resistance band.
Bio: Pilates is taught by Shelly Wilson, the Owner/Founder of Koinos. Shelly received her certification in Matwork
Pilates over a decade ago. In addition to playing tennis, pilates is Shelly’s favorite physical fitness activity, and she believes
it has benefits for every age and fitness level.
Cost: It is our desire to bless our girls/women with an affordable outlet for physical
fitness. Therefore, the cost of this class is reduced to $35.00.
